Advance Notice.  We always try to give the church and sacristies a thorough clean in preparation for the feast of St Francis on 4th October.  This year, the clean will take place on Saturday, 30th September from 10.00 am onwards.  If you are able to come along with dusters, polish, etc. and give a hand, it will be much appreciated.

And a reminder that Cleaning Team B will be cleaning the church this coming Saturday morning.

Mary. Mother of my Lord,

I thankfully remember your God-centred life,

doing His will in all things,

  without regard to the cost:

how you were the only one found fit

to be the means of Jesus becoming one of us:

how you loved and cared for Him,

and told others to obey Him in all things:

how you stood by Him at the Cross,

and how He loved and cared for us

  even as He was dying.

As He loved you, may I love you too,

and follow your advice to obey Him always.

Please pray for me

that I may always be faithful to Him

as a member of His Body the Church

  no matter what the cost.
