Thank you to Suzanne Crichton, who has kindly agreed to take on responsibility for the church cleaning rota from the new year.  At present, there are only two people who clean the church on a regular basis and we are looking to recruit more volunteers.  Please give some consideration to this, even if you can commit to only once or twice a year.  Why not involve all the members of your family, rather than feel you have to do it alone?  No one will have to help clean the church more than once every six to eight weeks, but we do need more than the two who presently undertake it.

THE ANGELUS

V/.      The Angel of the Lord declared to Mary.

R/.       And she conceived by the Holy Spirit.

            Hail Mary…

V/.      Behold the handmaid of the Lord.

R/.       Be it done to me according to Thy word.

            Hail Mary…

V/.      The Word was made flesh.

R/.       And dwelt among us.

            Hail Mary…

V/.      Pray for us, O holy Mother of God.

R/.       That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ.

            Let us pray.

Pour forth, we beseech Thee, of Lord, Thy grace into our hearts, that we to whom

the Incarnation of Christ Thy Son was made known by the message of an angel, may

by His passion and cross be brought to the glory of His resurrection, through the

same Christ our Lord. Amen.
